About Samaneh

Samaneh studied electrical engineering at Sharif University of Technology. Her research interest includes novel optoelectronic and solid-state devices. In her free time, she practices color pencil drawing and learns new languages.

Nathaniel (Nate) Coirier

About Nate

Nate studied Electrical Engineering for his B.S. and M.S. at Northwestern University. His current research focus is on using grain of rice sized optical modulators to detect neural activity, in addition to using phototransistor arrays to 3D scan biological samples. He greatly enjoys cooking, in addition to woodworking and reading.

Daniel studied Physics at Reed College. His focus is on single-photon detector fabrication and implementation in quantum systems. He enjoys reading and hiking when outside of the lab.

About Kehley

Kehley studied electrical engineering at Case Western Reserve University. She is interested in light-matter interactions, as well as nanomaterials and nanostructures. Outside of research, she enjoys reading, especially sci-fi/fantasy, and learning about ancient civilizations.

About Yuqing

Yuqing studied EECS and Bioengineering at UC Berkeley. Her focus is on integrated circuit (ASIC) chips tailored for brain-computer interfaces. When not at her desk, she’s an avid rock climber and Dungeons and Dragons enthusiast.
